Training the Trainers.

Our Level 1 and Learn To Coaches , coaches, attended a lively in house training course this morning delivered by our technical lead, safe guarding officer and CEO. The coaches actively engaged in discussions with our Technical Lead on the importance of their role as a coach, discussing typical scenarios they may face and how to deal with them and where they can go for help. In addition our technical lead gave them guidance on how to deal with the difficult transition they face as they move from gymnast to coach, touching on the correct behaviours and values expected by the club and how in their roles they are now role models for our gymnasts. Staying on the theme of behaviour our Safeguarding office talked child protection, and how to ensure the gymansts have a positive experience. The CEO tied all of this together with a presentation/ discussion, on IBGC business processes, and how the coaches play a huge role in the success of the club and its ongoing business. #Investinginouryoungcoaches #IBGCEducation #Lifeskills
